St. Marys dii bowl

(3-1-19) St. Marys picks up the OHSAA D II State Girls Bowling Championship.

The Roughriders performance is one to remember with their top five bowlers landing in the Top 20 led by Jaden Gibson (Jr) and Dorian Regendanz (Sr). Gibson rolled a 577 series  with a 225 game to finish 7th, while Regedanz was right behind her with a 573 series at #8.

Sara Hardin (Sr) rolled a 561 series to end up in 10th place, Alayna Thornsberry (Jr) was  19th with a 536 series and Debbie Swisher with a 531 series and in 20th place.

The Riders did struggle in the three Baker games with a 458, Versailles had the #1 Baker score with a 555.

St. Marys ended up as the #1 seed in the championship round with a 3,236 (2,778-458) score, they would start the round knocking off #6 seed Minerva 3-1, followed by beating #5 Greenon 3-0. In the championship match the Riders would beat #2 seed Bryan.
