Joe Harmann

(7-28-19) At the July 16th, 2019 Versailles Board of Education meeting, Joe Harrmann was approved to become the new head baseball coach.

Harrmann enters his ­­­­­first season as head coach for the Versailles Tigers and his 8th season overall as a coach at the high school or club level. Before coming to Versailles, Harrmann was involved with two extremely successful programs in the southern area of the state, Bishop Fenwick High School in Middletown, and Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati. In addition, he coached at Lehman Catholic for three years before taking a teaching position with Versailles. His other experience includes coaching 2 different select traveling organizations out of the Cincinnati area and coaching for the University of Dayton Club system. While at Moeller, Harrmann was a part of the 2006-2007 team that finished ranked as the AP #1 team in the state of Ohio. While at Fenwick, Harrmann enjoyed success helping to rebuild a program that had been neglected over the previous 3 seasons and eventually saw several players move onto the college ranks from Fenwick. In addition to having success on the field, Harrmann was able to help rebuild the program and see it become one of the finest facilities in the surrounding area.

Harrmann was hired at Versailles in 2014 as a Business and Technology Teacher. He also serves as the advisor for National Honor Society and Yearbook. Harrmann currently resides in Minster, Ohio and is married to his wife, Kylee. They have two children, a son Grady, and a daughter, Maizee.
