UNION CITY, Ind. – (11-11-19) After a disappointing loss to open the season, the Union City girls basketball team bounced back to grab their first win Saturday night at home, dominating Southern Wells by a final score of 67-31.

“They played together as a team.We had three players in double figures and our rebounding was much better. We were able to get everyone into the game and give the younger girls some more experience at that upper level to help deepen our bench later on.”
The Lady Indians were led in scoring by sophomore Skylie Lutz with 22 points and senior Mackenzie Green with 11. Sophomore Emily Livingston grabbed her first double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Union City is now 1-1 will be back in action on Wednesday at home against New Castle.
