UNION CITY, Ind. (12-21-19)  – After a tough loss on the road at Winchester earlier this week, the Union City Lady Indians rebounded with a commanding win over Lincoln Friday night at home. UC secured another TEC victory with a 75-27 win over the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Indians were led in scoring by Skylie Lutz with 27 points, Emily Livingston with 11 and Mackenzie Green with 10 points. Defensive leaders were Shadaisy Smith, Maddy Cox and Mariah Claywell – who each had six rebounds. Claywell also added five steals in the win.

“We moved the ball well and saw the floor well in transition. They were able to set their teammates up in a position to score throughout the game.”

The Lady Indians are now 9-3 on the season and 3-2 in Tri-Eastern Conference play. They will be back in action at their own annual Holiday Tournament on Friday December 27 at 10 a.m. versus the Daleville Lady Broncos.
