(12-30-19) Edgerton Head Football Coach Ben Wilhelm has stepped down after nine seasons leading the Bulldogs.

This season Edgerton was 9-3 and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs to Leipsic 39-6.

In 2018 the Bulldogs won their first Green Meadows Conference football title since 1983 and Wilhelm was named Ohio’s D VII Coach of the Year, when Edgerton made it to the Regional Finals and finished the season at 12-1. As head coach of the Bulldogs Wilhelm had an overall record of 57-39.

This season in the 1st round of the playoffs Edgerton beat defending State Champion McComb 44-21
