UNION CITY, Ind. (2-6-20) – The Union City Lady Indians advanced to the IHSAA Class A Sectional semifinal round with a 55-25 victory over Randolph Southern Tuesday night.
The Indians got off to a quick start – holding the Lady Rebels to just one field goal in the first quarter. The Lady Indians dominated the third quarter as well, once again holding Southern one field goal.
UC was led by Emily Livingston’s double-double, with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Skylie Lutz had 12 points and six assists and Mariah Claywell added 10 points.
The Lady Indians are now 16-7 and will look to avenge their 70-60 January loss against Tri on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Union City Jr/Sr High School.
