(2-10-20)  St. Marys picked up the 2020 WBL Girls Bowling Tournament title today edging out county rival Wapakoneta by just 39 pins 3,542-3,503. With the win the Roughriders and Redskins could share the WBL Championship, the Redskins currently lead the regular season with matches still remaining to be made up. The WBL Championship is determined by final regular season and tournament standings.

Wapakoneta won the regulation portion of the tournament by 51 pins over St. Marys 2,562-2,511. The Roughriders came back to edge the Redskins in the  Baker games 1,031-941. Van Wert ended up winning the Baker games with 1,090 pins and would place third. Celina ended up 4th with 3,256.

Wapakoneta’s (Sr) McKenzie Wagner rolled a tournament high 575 series (219. 190, 166), St. Marys was led by Debbie Swisher (Sr) who had a 561 series (194, 167, 200).

Celina had two bowlers in the top 10, Audree Gray (Jr) was 6th with 537 series and Jamie Coats (12) had a531 series.
