(3-21-21) After the first quarter of play, Botkins (27-3) led Columbus Grove 20-7, the Trojans started the game off with 16-0 run, thanks to Jayden Priddy-Powell ‘s 11 points. Columbus Grove would come back in the 2nd quarter with a 10-4 run and would end the half 28-22, just six points behind the Trojans.

In the end the 4th quarter was all Botkins as they outscored the Bulldogs 23-12 to beat Columbus Grove 60-44..

It was Botkins first ever boys basketball state title.

Jayden Priddy-Powell had a game to remember scoring 27 points, 10 of 13 FGs,4 of 5 3pt FGs, 3 of 4 FTs and 4 rebounds. Carter Pleiman added 17 points and 6 rebounds, Jacob Pleiman added 10 points and 8 rebounds and Denton Homan added 9 rebounds.

Columbus Grove was led by Gabe Clement with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while NWC Conference Player of the Year Blake Reynolds had 17 points and 9 rebounds.
