Conner McClure

(4-23-21) Green’s Connor McClure broke the OHSAA D I pole vault record tonight with a 17′ 3″ vault at the Bulldog Twilight Invitational. McClure surpassed the 17’ 2″ vault by Gahanna Lincoln’s Jacob Blankenship in 2012.

McClure tried 17’8, after the record breaker, but just missed on his final attempt. Had he made it at that height he would have had the 7th all-time best vault nationally.
