(6-5-21) Tyler Schwieterman (Jr) made history today when he became Coldwater’s first ever boys individual State Track Champion winning the 300 meter hurdles in a time of 39.48.

The podium included two other Midwest Athletic Conference hurdlers, Minster’s Joseph Slonkosky who finished 4th in a time of 40.98, he was joined by Marion Local’s Owen Rindler who finished 8th in a time of 41.95.

Schwieterman’s 2021 season has included 300 meter hurdle championships in the Midwest Athletic Conference and the D III Regionals.

Yesterday during the qualifying heat Schwieterman was the third fastest time at 40.41, Rindler had the fastest time with a 40.12.
