(6-12-21) The Kentucky Girls All Stars learned from their loss last night in Owensboro to beat the Indiana All Stars 78-76 at the Southport Fieldhouse.

Kentucky trailed by 9 at halftime 44-35, thanks to an Indiana 9-1 run at the end of the half. But Kentucky did what Indiana did not last night put together several long runs to pick up the win. The two teams split the 2021 series, both winning games on the road.

Blevins, Thompson and White
The Bluegrass girls in a balanced offensive night were led by Dynastee White with a game high 21 points, Macey Blevins with a double-double 20 points and 12 rebounds, Ella Thompson added another double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and Maria Kiefer added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Alexa Smiddy had 12 assists to set a new Kentucky All-Star record in one game. Maria Kiefer set two records tonight…5 blocks in one game and 8 total blocks in two games

Smith, Newman and Wiggins
The Hoosier girls were led by Ariana Wiggins with 18 points, Meg Newman had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds and Jayla Smith added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals.
