(8-27-21) Last night the Michigan High School football season kicked off.
For Niles it was a fresh start to the football program…new Hall of Fame Coach Scot Shaw, the debut in the Wolverine Conference…and a win for the Vikings.
Colin Hess (132 yards on 19 carries) scores three touchdowns and Sam Rucker scored the other in a 24-6 victory over Sturgis.
The Niles special teams had a slow start to the season…failing to convert and score on all four of the touchdowns.
