Kirtland after the week off is scheduled to play West Geauga at home this Friday. The Wolverines are 2-1 after beating Parma last night 43-0.
With the bye week, the Hornets remain at #4. But there was a BIG change at the top as Caledonia’s (Minn) 71 game winning streak was stopped by Lake City 30-13. The longest winning streak now belongs to Southern Columbia Area at 62 after a 41-0 win over Bloomsburg.

For the first time since the 2014 state semifinals, Caledonia lost a football game on Friday night. Lake City did the honors, beating the Warriors 30-13 in the Southeast District game. It ended the Warriors’ nation-leading winning streak of 72 games, ninth best all-time in the United States.
