(11-21-21) This weekend in DeKalb at Northern Illinois eight Illinois High School Association (IHSA) football State titles will be decided.

The seeding below for the finals gives some insight to this weekend.

Six #1 seeds will compete during the weekend, one title game in Class 3A (Byron and Tolono Unity) will feature the only game with both teams having #1 seeds.

Two double-digit seeds will be hoping to pick-up a State title, in 7A Chicago St. Rita is a #10 seed, while Maine South will be the lowest seed during the weekend with a #16 seed.

The rest of the seeds include 2-#2’s, 1-#3, 3-#4’s and 2-#6’s.
