Jay County’s Schwieterman Commits To Purdue University-Ft. Wayne

(12-9-21) In a tweet today Jay County’s Renna Schwieterman (6’0, G-F, Jr) announced that she had verbally committed to Purdue University-Ft. Wayne. Schwieterman had several other D I offers including Toledo, Akron and Valparaiso and is considered to be one of the top girls basketball players in Indiana.

Schwieterman told the Commercial Review about her early commitment-

“It’s definitely a stress relief and it’s really good knowing I know where I’m going. I know the coaches and I know some of the players and I have that connection started already as a junior.”
