(12-16-21) Cole Hagan (16) a student at Brazoswood (Tx) High School was lured outside during a party when another teen told him his car was damaged. Hagan was reported to have been attacked by three of his football teammates.

Reid Mitchell (17), Logan Huber (17) and Ayden Holland (18) were all charged with aggravated assault in the attack and were released on a $20,000 bond each.

Hagan suffered two skull fractures, a broken collar bone and a brain bleed during the attack that happened on Friday, December 3rd around 11:30 p.m. at a home on Cherrywood Court in Lake Jackson, Texas (a suburb of Houston).

According to a court affidavit and statements to the police…Mitchell had planned the attack for several days.

Huber told police that he witnessed:

“Reid Mitchell punch (Cole Hagan), bear hug him, slam him to the ground and then get on top of him and elbow him in the face,”

Classmates claimed the attack was sparked by inappropriate behavior toward women in their circle by Hagan. At least eight other students were reportedly aware of the planned attack before it happened.

Cole’s older brother Cory said after the incident

“They left him in the road after they finished attacking him and then texted one of his friends that were in the backyard of this house to say, ‘Hey come get your boy out of the street.’

Cole’s condition has improved since the attack took place…he is off the ventilator and is able to breathe on his own.
