(12-22-21) Robbie Roper (18), a Georgia (Roswell) High School class of 2022 quarterback recruit, died due to complications from a shoulder surgery on Tuesday in Gainesville, Fla.

After the surgery Roper would have complications from the anesthesia and would pass away shortly after he had been put on life support.

Roper (6’4 215lb) threw for over 3,000 yards and 37 TDs in 2021 as Roswell finished the season at 10-3. He was named the Georgia Region 5 Class 7A player of the year, after leading the Hornets to the GHSA Class 7A quarterfinals before losing to Grayson High School.
