(1-24-22) Two Homestead basketball stars were nominated earlier this month as McDonald’s All-Americans this year. Tuesday the rosters will be announced for the games scheduled in March to be played in Chicago at the Wintrust Arena, home to the Chicago Sky.

Homestead’s Ayanna Patterson (UConn commit) and Fletcher Loyer (Purdue commit) both realistically have a chance to be named to the rosters. They are both legitimate candidates for Mr. and Ms. Indiana honors. They and 750 other nominees will find out tomorrow. 24 boys and 24 girls will be selected for the four teams to compete in the two games.
