Jackson and George III

(4-9-22) George Washington III (Jr), an Ohio State University commit, will be leaving Louisville’s Christian Academy and will be moving to Dayton, Ohio. Why? His father, George Washington Jr., accepted an assistant coaching position with the women’s basketball program at the University of Dayton. The family will move to Dayton at the end of the school year.

This past season Washington III, a 6’2 guard, averaged 23.4 points and 6.8 rebounds for a Centurions. Many in Kentucky thought he would be a strong candidate next season for the state’s Mr. Kentucky honor.

Add the fact that his younger brother and teammate, Jackson, a 6’3 sophomore, averaged 12.9 points and 1.5 rebounds. Some Dayton area school will hit the jackpot.

What school will the two brothers be attending in Dayton, Washington Jr., said that has not yet been decided for his sons.

Washington Jr. told the Louisville Courier Journal in a story –

“It’s a circus right now because all of the coaches up there just caught wind that we’re coming. Preferably, it will be a private school. Our kids have always attended private schools.”

It should be interesting…two stars coming to Dayton, where will they play?
