(4-8-22) Celina Girls Basketball Coach Branden Rushton has turned in his resignation after 2 years of coaching the Bulldogs.
Celina was 5-18 overall this season and 2-7 in the Western Buckeye League. In his first year as head coach he was 2-19 overall and 1-8 in the WBL.
Rushton, a Reynolodsburg Ohio grad, is the husband of Cenzie (a Celina grad), who stepped down at the end of the 2020 season. Rushton had assisted his wife during her two-year run as head coach at Celina.
The resignation was handed in on April 4th. The Celina City Schools Board of Education will act on the request Monday night during their April meeting.
