
(5-4-22) Former New Knoxville basketball coach Cole Fischbach (27) was found guilty Tuesday on two of the seven charges to accusations of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14 year old female student prior to his resignation last July.
Fischbach was convicted on two counts of disseminating material harmful to juveniles, each count is considered a first-degree misdemeanor.
Fischbach was found not guilty on two counts of sexual imposition, tampering with evidence, and two other counts of disseminating material harmful to juveniles.
Fischbach coached the New Knoxville boys’ basketball team in 2020-2021 season, his only season in charge of the Rangers.
Sentencing hearing has not been decided.
