2022 All-Western Buckeye League Baseball Team Named, Player of the Year Is Defiance’s David Jimenez

(5-16-22) The 2022 All-Western Buckeye League (WBL) Baseball Team was named this past weekend.

Defiance’s David Jimenez was named the WBL Player of the Year, while Defiance Coach Tom Held was named Coach of the Year.

Defiance went 9-0 in league play and picked up their 27th WBL title (2022, 21, 19, 16, 14, 12, 11, 10, 09, 08, 07, 05, 04, 02, 00, 19999, 98, 97, 95, 94, 93, 92, 89, 85, 84, 82, 77). Defiance entered the league in September 1973.
