‘A Few Good Women’ Marines End 70 Match Losing Streak

(9-23-22) Last night the Hamilton (Indiana) girls volleyball team ended a 70 game losing streak beating Ft. Wayne Canterbury in a 5-set match.

Hamilton wins its first volleyball match since 2018 with a 3-2 victory over Canterbury, breaking a 70-game losing streak.

The last victory for the Marines was Sep. 4, 2018, when they swept now-defunct Howe Military Academy.

It has been a tough go since that win by the Marines over Howe Military in 2018, they did not win a set during that stretch until this season (according to MaxPreps records). This year before the match win over Canterbury…they had won 2 sets…signs that the program was going in the right direction.
