Hornets Prove They Are One Of Indiana’s Best

(9-26-22) Don’t look now but Angola has a pretty good volleyball team. This past weekend they won the Warsaw Invitational with wins over LaPorte and Homestead and going undefeated in pool play. The only blemishes were losing one game to quality teams… LaPorte in the title game and one to Homestead..the first time the Hornets have lost a game this season.

Angola loses its first set of the season but bounces back to beat a very good Homestead team. 24-26, 25-18, 15-11 Hornets will play LaPorte in the finals.

The Hornets are 21-0 on the season and are #1 ranked team in Indiana in Class 3A.

On September 17th they handled Indiana powerhouse Bellmont 25-19, 25-16, 25-19…when you sweep the Braves you get a lot of attention.
