New Bremen And Parkway Volleyball Players Will Remember…The ‘Final Kill’ Of Their Careers

(10-12-22) Last night Auglaize County rivals matched up in a Midwest Athletic Conference match.

New Bremen would beat their next door neighbor Minster 25-16, 25-20, 25-13. It was Senior Night for the Cardinals and a night to honor Mia Schmitmeyer, who had missed the entire season due to an injury that took place in May.

With sportsmanship and the help of the Wildcats…Mia was able to get her 1st hit of the season and the final one in her career.

Mia was 1st team MAC, 1st team District 8, & Honorable Mention All-Ohio as a junior in 2021. Unfortunately, she suffered a season ending knee injury in May.
