Pending Board approval (on Dec. 19th) , we are excited to announce that Dave Taynor (Former HC at Urbana University, Lock Haven University and Graham High School) will be our new head football coach.

Coach Taynor will be at Sidney High School this Thursday, December 8 at 6pm in the cafeteria to meet the players, parents, and supporters.

Taynor replaces Adam Doegnes, a St. Marys graduate, who was the Yellow Jackets head coach for 12 years. Sidney went 4-7 this past season and he had a career record of 53-71.

Taynor has coached the last three season at Graham, at Urbana University from 2008-14 and at Lock Haven University as head coach from 2015-19 with a 12-43 record.

This past season the Falcons finished 5-6 this past season, losing to Urbana 42-35 in the playoffs.
