(12-11-22) Season 5 has started in the Mercer County League. Indications are that 2022-23 should be a very competitive season.
Only the Marion Local (boys and girls) have not yet played a MCL contest. In girls action Coldwater and Celina have both played two games already.
Coldwater’s Riley Rismiller, who is a University of Dayton commit, this past week scored her 1,000th career point in leading the Cavs to a 49-36 win over St. Henry.

SSN’s Mercer County League
Why the MCL?
To add a little extra excitement to the high school basketball season SSN again will bring you the Mercer County League.
The first year SSN introduced the (mythical) MCL was in 2018-19.
All six Mercer County high schools are included, actual head to head match-ups between the schools that will determine a MCL champion in both boys and girls basketball.
