(12-21-22) According to a Courier story the Blanchard Valley Conference Governing Board voted to dismiss Vanlue from the BVC for football only beginning with the 2023-24 school year.
They will still be a part of the BVC next season, but that could depend on numbers.that turn out to play for the Wildcats. This past season they were listed by the OHSAA with a boys enrollment of 24.
Vanlue will still be BVC members in all other sports.
The BVC has been in a constant state of flux…
- Leipsic moved to the Northwest Conference
- Cory-Rawson and North Baltimore will be joining the Northwest Central Conference next season
- Elmwood will join the BVC in 2023-24
- Liberty-Benton will be be leaving the league by 2025-26
BVC schools still left include: Arcadia, Arlington, McComb, Pandora-Gilboa, Riverdale and Van Buren.
