
(1-14-23) Marion Local‘s Darren Meier (6’4 280lb Sr) was named to the Defense 2nd team of the 2023 MaxPreps Small Town All-American Team as a linebacker.
Meier was a two-way starter for the D VI Ohio State Championship Flyers and was named the OHSAA D VI Defensive Player of the Year and in the Midwest Athletic Athletic Conference. In the MAC he was also named a 2nd team running back.
