(2-28-23) At the February 16, 2023, OHSAA Board of Directors Meeting the Directors approved stipends for State team qualifiers in Winter and Spring sports.
During the pandemic any form of reimbursements for tournament host or state qualifiers were eliminated. The OHSAA has kept sports fees for schools in place that were implemented during the pandemic.
The Board is expected to officially approve them at its April 27, 2023 meeting
The OHSAA will also be having another vote on a bylaw that failed the last time it was voted on. The measure has strong opinions on both sides of the issue.
