Winning the District title was Ashland with a 3,156 score and Wapakoneta was the runner-up just 94 pins behind with a 3,060. The Redskins were led by the District individual champion Reiley Sevillano with a 744 series (231, 265, 248), teammate Eli Vanmeter finished in 3rd with 691 series (243, 219, 229).

Both teams advance to the D I state finals next weekend (March 10-11, 2023) at the Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.

Two other WBL teams finished 3rd and 4th, but missed advancing, the Roughriders finished with 2,824 total and Celina ended the season with a 2,635.

Leading St. Marys was Jack Boos, who will advance as an individual to state, finished 7th overall with a 621 series (194, 194, 233) and Celina was led by Timothy Novitzke with a 9th place finish and a 606 series (254, 195, 157).
