(3-23-23) Years from now Brandywine fans will be talking about the 2023 boys basketball state tournament run…and what a year that it was. The Bobcats tournament run ended when they lost this afternoon in the State Division 3 state semifinal game at the Breslin Center to Traverse City St. Francis 46-36.

The Gladiators were led by Wayne Nausadis (Sr) who filled up the scorebook scoring 21 points, 7 rebounds, 7 steals and 3 assists. After having five Bobcats in double-figures in the Regional title game on Tuesday no one was able to do that as the St. Francis defense did their jobs. Both teams combined to shoot just 3 for 23 behind the 3pt line.
The good news for Brandywine, who ends the season at 25-3…four of their five starters return next season, with only forward Michael Palmer graduating this spring.
