Lincolnview BOE Discusses NWC Membership Situation

(5-26-23) Two stories posted in the the Van Wert Independent gives details into the situation of the Northwest Conference’s (NWC) membership search.

Lincolnview Junior High/High School Principal Brad Mendenhall during the BOE meeting explained-

“We have had schools that have reached out to the conference about membership. The conference has reached out to some others about their interest and seeing where that goes, so it will be very intriguing to see how it all shakes out when it’s all said and done.”

According to the Independent story, three schools were named as showing interest in joining the NWC, Lima Central Catholic, Liberty-Benton and Ft. Loramie (football only). Schools contacted by the NWC to consider membership were not named.
