(2-24-24) Update courtesy Celina Bowling Coach Josh Goff—

We started slow with a 775 which left us in 4th place after game 1. Game 2 was an 800 which moved us to 3rd, and game 3 was a 914 which got us with 22 pins of 2nd place. The ladies stayed focused and improved every baker game to finish in second overall for the day.

Piper Gilliland led the team with a 569 series consisting of games of 162, 202, and 205. Chloe Bruce added a 194 and Ryann Eckhardt a 209.

While we struggled with consistency and emotions throughout the day, but we never gave up. Everyone gave their best effort and continued to battle and work to get through the tough parts of the day. I couldn’t be more proud of how this team stuck together and bowled today. They knew they were in for a tough day early on, but they embraced it and succeeded.
The ladies will travel to Port Clinton next Thursday for Districts where the winning team moves on to the State Tournament.
