(3-17-24) The 2024 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Candidates and KABC Regional Players of the Year were honored tonight at the 2024 Mr. and Miss Kentucky Basketball Awards Ceremony.
Only seniors are eligible for the awards.
Pikeville’s Trinity Rowe has been named this year’s Miss Kentucky Basketball.
Rowe was nominee for the McDonald’s All-American Game, leading the Panthers in scoring averaging 16.2 points per game.
In 2024 Rowe became Pikeville’s all time leading scorer and just the fifth player in Kentucky girls high school basketball history to record 1,000 career assists.
The Southern Mississippi commit led the Panthers to Rupp Arena where they lost to Bethlehem, falling 56-49.

Lyon County’s Travis Perry, who has signed with the University of Kentucky, is Kentucky’s 2024 Mr. Basketball.
Perry, a 6’2 Guard, has played at Lyon since he was in the 7th grade and has scored 5,393 points. As a seventh grader, Perry was the team’s leading scorer, averaging 20.6 points per game.He surpassed the previous record held by Kelly Coleman, who scored 4,337 points from 1952-1956 at Wayland.Perry also has the record for most 3-pointers made in a career, 698. The previous record was 463.
