Mercer County Bowling Teams Advance In Tournament

(2-20-26) Three Mercer County Bowling teams advanced with impressive tournament play.

The Celina girls continue to roll winning the D I Sectional at Community Lanes.

Delay was the theme of the day…but after 8 hours we brought home the W and are Sectional Champs! Chloe Bruce led all bowlers with a 622 series, Brynly Huber was 3rd with a 573 series and Ryann Eckhardt was 4th with a 561 series. The team battled tough lane conditions all day, lane breakdowns, and pace of play issues, but kept pushing and finished the day in first. Great job by the entire team.

Ladies return to action at Districts next Tuesday at Star Lanes at the Harbor in Port Clinton at 10am.
