(2-23-17) Coldwater’s Cory Whitacre helped the Cavs advance to the State Finals with a 3rd place team finish and winning individual honors rolling a 650 (216, 205, 229) series. Trey James added a 636 (197, 246, 193) series and Ben Schmitmeyer (190, 224, 203) added a 617 series.
The Top 5 teams were all within 80 pins of each other, St. Marys won the District title with 4,094 pins, Coldwater was just 32 pins back at 4,062.
St. Henry finished fourth, but does not move on to State, Trey Buehler will move on for the Redskins as an individual as he finished just behind Whitacre five pins back with a 645 (168, 211, 256) series.
