(6-1-17) The Celina Board of Education on Wednesday (6-7-17) in a Special Board meeting will look to hire Brandon Steinke to replace Steve Bader as the new Girls Head Basketball Coach.
Steinke will replace veteran Head Coach Steve Bader, last season the Bulldogs suffered their worse season in school history going 0-9 in the WBL and 1-22 overall.
Bader is retiring after 35 years in education and coaching in Van Wert and later in Celina.
Steinke, is a Wapakoneta grad, will be returning back to Ohio after being at The Woodlands College Park High School in Texas for the past five years. Steinke will also be considered for an Intervention teacher position ( 5 years experience) at the High School.
