Paige Sutter


6-19-17 – Celina’s Paige Sutter will continue her Track career at Indiana Wesleyan University.  Sutter placed third recently in the Shot Put at the OHSAA DI State Championships in Columbus. Sutter won the 2017 WBL shot put title and holds the Celina school record in the shot put at 44′ 1″, a record she broke in 2017.

Sutter who lettered in three sports this past season was a member of the WBL All Academic team,  was third at the WBL swim meet in the 500 yard freestyle and 200 yard freestyle, a member of the the WBL Champion 400 yard freestyle relay team, and  a member of the 3rd place 200 meter medley team and was named to the All WBL 1st team in volleyball.

All three sports Sutter participated in were all Western Buckeye League Champions in 2017.

Sutter comes from a long time green and white background, mom Amy, who is the current Celina Girls volleyball coach,  is a Celina grad and was a multiple sport star in high school. Her grandpa, Walt Shreffler, was the architect behind the Celina boys and girls track team programs.

Indiana Wesleyan is a member of the NAIA, NCCAA and Crossroads League and is located in Marion, Indiana.
