(8-8-17) Christmas came early this week for new Harlem Boys Basketball Coach Mike Winters with the addition of Christian Life Guard Treye Tucker who is transferring back to his home school. Tucker went to Harlem K-5 and also attended during his 7th grade year. Tucker is one of the top players in Illinois and the Stateline area.
New beginnings/ or finishing where I started. 1 in the same.

Tucker sees the move to Harlem as a positive for his future education, the Junior-to-be wants to go into marketing or forensic sciences in college and this will give him the opportunity to take classes that will help him by moving back to Harlem, Christian Life does not offer those educational opportunities.
Tucker led all area players last season in assists with 8 per game, while averaging 22.1 points a game. Last season he was named to the Northeastern Athletic Conference first team. Tucker is the second high-profile player to transfer from CL in recent years, All-State Guard Isaiah Box transferred to East for his senior year (2013). Tucker just received his first DI offer this past June from Stetson University.
Waited my whole life to post this but blessed to say I’ve received my first D1 offer. Thank you to @TEAMRWA16 and my coaches…. pic.twitter.com/4w1vgbApWa

Tucker, who plays a high level during the AAU season, will have no problem making the move from 1A to 4A and the NIC 10.
