Poca Head Coach Seth Ramsey told the wvgazette.com after the game:
“We’ve been through ups and downs and peaks and valley. I am so proud. They just kept with it and stuck it out. They played like brothers in a big brotherhood. They celebrate each other’s successes and bear each other’s burdens. I just couldn’t be more proud.”
Dots’ reshman tailback Ethan Payne rushed for 166 yards on 16 carries and also threw a 27-yard touchdown pass.

Mississinawa Valley ended a 31 game losing streak when they beat Bradford 21-6, just up the road Waynesfield-Goshen ended a 24 game losing streak with a 46-14 win over Ridgedale.
Mississinawa Valley coach Mike Griffin told the Daily Advocate:
This is a great feeling. I’ll be honest, I’m happier for these guys then getting my first win here as the coach because they have never won a Friday night game in their lives/careers. For these seniors to finally get one, I’m elated for them, and for our fans who have endured a 31-game losing streak … I’m excited for them, too.
