Sycamore Springs

(10-2-17) – The St. Henry Girls Golf team and St. Marys Senior Jill Schmitmeyer qualified for the State Tournament today at the Northwest Districts D II Tournament at Sycamore Springs.

St. Henry is one of four temas to move on to the State Tournament, the Redskins were led by Freshman Ellen Naumann (44-40) who shot an 84, Karlee Staugler (43-43) with an 86 and Allyson Hemmelgarn (44-45) with an 89. Also moving on is LCC and Shelby, both 338 team scores, St. Henry shot a 362 and Edison was the final team to move on with a 365, they beat out Wayne Trace by two strokes.

St. Marys Senior Jill Schmitmeyer finished in 3rd place shooting a 76 (34-42), 3 strokes behind the leader and 1 stroke behind the runner-up. Schmitmeyer has qualified all four years of high school career with the finish today.
