Heistan’s resignation is on Shawnee’s board of education agenda on Tuesday (20th).
Heistan is Shawnee’s all-time winningest coach with a current combined boys/girls record after 30 years of 383-282, his record as a girls coach is 163-124 and his boys record is 220-158. Heistan coached the Indians boys teams for 17 seasons.
Heistan’s final regular season game will be tomorrow at home against Allen East, followed by their opening tournament game on Tuesday against St. Marys.
