
(2-16-18) After a winter weather delay from the past weekend, the WBL held its bowling tournament yesterday to help decide this year’s conference titles.
The WBL Championship is decided on the combination of regular season standings and the conference tournament standings.

Both boys and girls titles were shared, Celina and St. Marys shared the boys championship, the Bulldogs won the tournament yesterday and ends up in a tie with St. Marys who had tied for 1st place during the regular season lead and was 3rd yesterday. St. Marys and Wapakoneta tied for the 2018 championship, St. Marys finished 1st during the regular season and 2nd in yesterday’s tournament, while Wapakoneta finished 2nd during the regular season and picked up the tournament win yesterday.

Celina’s Cole Cisco was named the Boys WBL Bowler of the Year, he was joined by two teamamates on the 1st team, Nathan Langenkamp and Josh Wahl.
The Girls WBL Bowler of the Year was Shawnee’s Dayle Aldrich.
