Coldwater Wrestling Wins D III Sectional Title, Parkway 5th

(2-24-18) The Coldwater Cavaliers picked up the D III Sectional Wrestling Championship today at Lima Central Catholic. The Cavs outscored O-G 204.5-187, Parkway finished fifth with a 109 points

Coldwater was led by Josh Fink and Thomas Schwieterman who both won Sectional titles.  In the 152 lb weight class Dionisio Fink had a major decisions win over O-G’s Kobe Noirot 14-5, Schwieteterman picked up a pin over Columbus Grove’s Jeff Meyer to win at 285.

Coldwater’s Brian Chmielewski was the runner-up at 113 and Nolan Tobe at 220.

Parkway’s Tristen McKee picked up the 106 title in a 14-10 decision over Wayne Trace’s Gabe Sutton.

Parkway’s Preston Browning picked up a 2nd place finish at 120.
