(4-27-18) Meadowbrook will be moving to the Muskingum Valley League as part of a three-team expansion (Coshocton and River View) for the 2020-2021 school year. The Colts will leave both the East Central Ohio League and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference, after many years in both, to join their new conference.
The nine-team MVL will now have twelve members, Meadowbrook will be joining two more ECOL members, Coshocton and River View, who were accepted earlier into the conference. The departure of the three schools leave the ECOL with just five members, Cambridge, Zanesville, Dover, New Philadelphia and Marietta.
Current MVL members include, New Lexington, Crooksville, West Muskingum, Morgan, Tri-Valley, John Glenn, Sheridan, Maysville and Philo.
The league changes continue in Ohio and it continues to be a regular happening this past school year.
