(5-8-18) After day one of the MAC Track Championships at Versailles, the host Tigers lead the boys meet, while Minster leads on the girls side.

Versailles had a big first day winning three of the five events that had finals completed.
The Tigers won the 4×800 meter relay, Josh Steinbrunner won the high jump and Kyle Jones won the long jump.
In the other two events Minster’s Max Prenger won the shot put and Marion Local’s John Dirksen won the discus.
Minster and Marion Local stay close in 2nd and 3rd place, the Wildcats have 38.5 points and the Flyers had 37.50.

In the girls meet Minster picked up 54.5 points, thanks to winning the 4×800 meter relay and Hannah Pack winning the high jump.
New Bremen’s Macy Puthoff won the long jump to lead the Cardinals to a 1st day 2nd place finish with 38 points.
Delphos St. John’s Jill Gemmer added two MAC titles on the day winning the shot put and the discus.
