(5-15-18) South Adams Senior Addie Wanner had a big night at the New Haven Sectional, winning the 100 meter hurdles and taking second place in both the high jump and long jump.

Also advancing to Regionals is the 4×800 meter relay team (Von Gunten, Miller, Harruff and Patch), Taylor Augsburger in the shot put, Olivia Von Gunten in the 400 meter dash and Kallee Patch in the 800 meter run (school record).

The Starfires finished fourth with 68 points.

Adams County neighbor Bellmont sends two to the Regionals out of the field events.

Gabby Burch won the discus and Mia Hankerson was third in the pole vault.

Bellmont finished in 7th with 39 points and Adams Central was 8th with 24 points.

All the qualifiers will participate at the Indiana Wesleyan Regional in Marion next Tuesday.
