(10-13-18) The Defiance Bulldogs boys and girls cross country teams picked up WBL titles on Saturday in Celina at the Wright State University Lake Campus.
For the girls team it was their 5th consecutive WBL title and 12th overall, for the boys they have won 6 of the last 7 titles and picked up their 25th overall.

Defiance placed their Top 5 runners in the Top 10 to easily outdistance Van Wert 24-67.
Leading the blue and white Bulldogs with a 1-2 finish were Bronson Nhalicki (Jr) and Hunter Sheery (Sr), Nhalicki ran the course in a time 16:21.74, almost a minute better then his teammate.
The Cougars were led by 3rd and 4th place finishers Gage Chiles (12) and Jacob Wasson (Soph).
GIRLS Complete Results
The Defiance girls team made it a sweep with 45-95 win over 2nd place Shawnee.
Van Wert’s Caylee Phillips (Jr) won the individual race with a time of 19:17.27.
Leading Defiance in 2nd and 3rd place were Katie Crites (Sr) and Shay Soukop (Jr).
