(6-6-21) Bradford ends a season that will be long remembered….today they won the 2021 OHSAA D IV State Softball Championship beating Cuyahoga Heights 8-0 in Akron.

For the Miller sisters, Austy and Skipp, Holidays will be a lot more fun talking around the dinner table about their State title. The sister battery had a day to remember. Austy, the catcher, went 2 for 4, with a double and 2 RBIs, while sister Skipp, the pitcher, went 1 for 2, walked and had 2 RBIs, she also commanded the circle again, throwing all 7 innings, giving up just 1 hit, striking out 10 and walking just 1.

The Railroaders were a determined team today with multiple members providing help, the Canans both had a hit, Rylee had 2 RBIs and Emma had a RBI and scored 2 runs.

It is Bradford’s first softball title.
